Supporters attending Saturday’s Christmas Matchday Lunch at Cliftonville Bowling Club are kindly requested to be in their seats for 12pm.

Staged ahead of the Reds’ Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Carrick Rangers, the occasion will comprise a two-course festive meal with wine, followed by tea or coffee and entertainment from the ever-popular Tim McGarry.

All tickets for the eagerly-anticipated event sold out within three hours of details being announced early last month and, with a full house guaranteed, everyone at the Club is looking forward to the long overdue return of this particular matchday augmentation.

In addition to asking that fans arrive in good time to be seated for noon, and in observance of the legal enforcement of Covid Passport regulations from today, ticket holders are advised that access to the Bowling Club requires demonstratable evidence of:

• Double Covid-19 vaccination;
• A Covid Passport QR code;
• A negative lateral flow test result or;
• Proof of a coronavirus infection within the last six months
