Hit the vote

Saturday’s victory over Warrenpoint Town brought the curtain down on a busy September for Cliftonville – meaning the time has now come for the season’s first Player of the Month poll.

Having commenced the new campaign with narrow Danske Bank Premiership victories over Carrick Rangers and Coleraine in August, the Reds kicked September off with a 1-0 win over Glentoran thanks to Ryan Curran’s well-taken strike.

Daniel Kearns then pounced in injury-time to earn the Reds a North Belfast Derby draw with Crusaders at Seaview ahead of Curran and Levi Ives finding the net in a County Antrim Shield defeat of Harland & Wolff Welders.

Joe Gormley bagged a double in addition to a Curran clincher against Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park and, after overcoming Knockbreda 9-0 in a League Cup tie that saw Paul O’Neill (3), Colin Coates (2), Conor Scannell (2), Kearns and Aaron Donnelly on the scoresheet, Curran’s header was enough to see off Point at the weekend.

To cast your Sean Graham Player of the Month vote, simply choose an option before our poll closes at kick-off in Friday’s Premiership clash with Linfield, with the result set to be unveiled later in the week.
