After Paul O’Neill marked his debut with an assist for Rory Hale and late equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Coleraine, the Reds suffered a last-minute loss to Glentoran before Ryan Curran strikes either side of O’Neill’s finish secured a 3-0 win over Warrenpoint Town.

Back-to-back successes were denied when Portadown netted late on to cancel out Hale’s opener at Shamrock Park before Cliftonville set off on a three-game winning streak courtesy of Ronan Doherty’s firm finish against Larne.

Curran and O’Neill were on the scoresheet again when Ballymena United were overcome ahead of Curran sealing all three points with a confident conversion against Carrick this weekend.
