The month ahead: February

Cliftonville are solely on Danske Bank Premiership duty in February – with seven mouth-watering fixtures to come over the next few weeks.

After tomorrow night’s encounter with Coleraine at The Showgrounds, the Reds take on Glentoran at The Oval in a rearranged tie on Saturday before welcoming Warrenpoint Town to Solitude on February 9.

On the 13th, Paddy McLaughlin’s side will be away to Portadown before a home date with Larne represents the first of back-to-back rescheduled fixtures; a midweek trip to Ballymena United postponed from January 23 next on the list.

Cliftonville will then conclude the month by facing Carrick Rangers at the Belfast Loughshore Hotel Arena on the 27th – so add all of those dates to your diary as the Reds, who made seven new additions to their squad in the Transfer Window, bid to build on an encouraging start to the year.
