Eoin the up

Eoin Teggart insists it’s vital that Cliftonville turn the belief gained from their midweek defeat of Linfield into another three point return against Glenavon in tomorrow’s Danske Bank Premiership clash at Solitude.

The 18-year-old Portsmouth loanee – who made his debut as a late substitute in Tuesday’s 4-3 success – says: “It will be a tough game and Glenavon are a good side but hopefully we’ll be able to take the confidence of the Linfield win into the weekend and get the three points and keep trying to move up the table.

“I thought we were brilliant on Tuesday night. The lads showed great spirit to come back from a goal down on two occasions and, after going in front, we dug in.”

You can read the full Teggart interview in tomorrow’s digital edition of The Red Eye, which will be available here on cliftonvillefc.net ahead of kick-off.

Featuring pre-match views from the Manager’s Office, The Red Eye’s 12th issue of the campaign carries all the stats behind the Reds’ recent form and a look at the Lurgan Blues’ busy transfer activity – plus plenty more besides.
