Congratulations to Cliftonville Academy product Conor Hazard, who made his Celtic debut in this evening’s Europa League victory over Lille.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper, who came through the ranks at Solitude before moving to Glasgow in 2014, was part of the Celtic XI side that faced the Reds in George McMullan’s Testimonial four years ago and made his senior Northern Ireland debut in a 2018 friendly with Costa Rica.

As well as being a memorable night for Hazard and his family, this evening’s match – which the Hoops won 3-2 – was also a proud occasion for his former Cliftonville Academy coaches and team-mates and everyone at the Club is delighted to see Conor continue to provide inspiration as a role model for the current crop of youngsters on our books.
