Cliftonville 3-0 Warrenpoint Town
Cliftonville made it back-to-back 3-0 wins in the Danske Bank Premiership thanks a clinical performance against Warrenpoint Town at Solitude this afternoon.
As was the case against Carrick Rangers last weekend, Thomas Maguire opened the scoring – finding the net after referee Tony Clarke had played a good advantage following a foul on Michael McCrudden by Gabriel Sava – before Ryan Curran made it 2-0 early in the second-half with a composed finish.
Joe Gormley’s 53rd minute volley wrapped things up, although the Reds might have extended their lead but for a couple of smart stops by Sava either side of Curran poking a low effort against the base of the post.
