Aaron Donnelly is today named Cliftonville Football Club’s Sean Graham Player of the Month for October.

In an online poll conducted among Reds fans, Donnelly – who received 26% of the vote – took the honour after a series of commanding displays in a hitherto unfamiliar midfield position in the team’s opening three Danske Bank Premiership fixtures.

In addition to congratulating Aaron on landing our first Sean Graham accolade of the 2020/21 campaign, the Club also places on record our thanks to the many hundreds of supporters who took the time to get involved and we look forward to similar engagement when it’s time to determine November’s star performer in a few weeks’ time.

Our Goal of the Month competition was, meanwhile, predictably won by Joe Gormley for his volleyed finish in the County Antrim Shield quarter-final victory over Dundela.

A clear victor from the outset, his strike was joined by efforts which can only be described as making up the numbers in October’s compilation (below) as we sought to at least present the illlusion of competition in this week’s poll.
