Cliftonville Strollers and Under 16s enjoyed winning returns after getting their Academy League seasons off to belated starts over the weekend.

The Strollers claimed an entertaining 4-3 victory over Carrick Rangers Under 18s on Friday, while Saturday saw the U16s defeat their Carrick counterparts 4-1, and both sides will be back in League action in the week ahead, with Linfield’s Rangers and U16 teams providing the opposition.
