White wash

Cliftonville’s change strip from the 2008/09 campaign is the last ensemble to have been given a direct ticket through to the next stage of our Away Kit Battle.

The White & Red effort – which reversed the colours in that season’s home kit – landed 62% of the vote to book its spot in the last 16 at the expense of the infamous purple jersey from 2011/12.

The defeated shirt will not, however, drop out of the race entirely and will now join the other nine first phase losers in a second-chance saloon as we bid to compile the definitive list of the Club’s best and worst away kits of the last 30 years.

Everyone will naturally have their own favourite efforts and, with just a few days to wait until our second phase commences, have you decided which strip you’d vote for out of any given combination?
