Colourful recollections

It’s the only jersey we hadn’t been able to unearth a colour photograph of, but that didn’t stop Cliftonville fans from voting the Club’s 1993/94 strip through to the next stage of our Away Kit Battle.

The Yellow and Navy effort – which, thanks to Peter Sammut, we are now able to bring to you in its full glory – landed 56% of the vote to book its spot in the last 16 at the expense of the Green and Navy striped Diadora top sported on the road during the 1995/96 campaign.

The defeated shirt will not, however, drop out of the race entirely and will later join the other first phase losers in a second-chance saloon as we bid to compile the definitive list of the Club’s best and worst away kits of the last 30 years.

Everyone will naturally have their own favourite efforts and, with just a few days to wait until our next head-to-head battle, have you decided which strip you’d vote for out of any given combination?
