Jamie Harney expects Cliftonville’s Danske Bank Premiership clash with Larne tomorrow to be an entertaining affair.

With both squads renowned for their eye-catching passing approach, Harney predicts that the first top-flight meeting between the sides for 12 years will be one to watch.

“It goes without saying that Larne have quality in their team, especially going forward,” says the Reds defender.

“Quite similar to us, I think they’ve six or seven quality players. I think it’s going to be a good game for the neutral. It’s two teams that like to get the ball down and it’s going to be interesting to see.”

You can read the full Harney interview in this this weekend’s edition of our Matchday Magazine, which will be on sale at Solitude for £3.

Featuring Paddy McLaughlin’s pre-match views, The Red Eye’s ninth issue of the campaign carries your latest player poster, reflects on the Invermen’s Premiership return and steps 118, 79 and 28 years back down memory lane – plus plenty more besides.
