Cliftonville will travel to face Connah’s Quay Nomads as part of a European warm-up schedule that also includes a trip to Derry City as well as two home fixtures.

The Brandywell encounter with the Candystripes will take place on Friday, June 14 and commences an itinerary that sees the Reds’ fellow Europa League Preliminary Round participants Cardiff Metropolitan University visit Solitude on Monday, June 17 ahead of Ards doing likewise two days later.

Paddy McLaughlin and his players will then take on Connah’s Quay at The Airfield in Broughton – home of newly promoted Welsh Premier League side Airbus UK – on Saturday, June 22.

Almost exactly three years to the day since the Reds’ 1-0 friendly victory over the Nomads at Solitude, the match comes just ahead of the Club’s return to continental action on the 27th of the month, with supporters again reminded that they can follow all the developments in the lead-up to the Europa League draw courtesy of our dedicated guide.
