Cats’ cradle
Following Cliftonville’s European party this weekend, supporters are invited back for another day of celebration when Solitude hosts Ryan Catney’s Testimonial on Saturday.
The Reds will face an Irish League All-Stars side managed by Tommy Breslin, when a host of famous faces from past and present – including Cliftonville’s iconic back-to-back title-winning sides of 2012-14 – will convene to pay tribute to Catney’s distinguished service at the Club.
Following the match, the Social Club will stage the presentation of Sponsored Shirts from the season just past ahead of the screening of the FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Watford, a food-and-drink happy hour and some live music.
All fans are invited to come and be part of a special day that, in addition to bringing the curtain down on the 2018/19 campaign, will see Catney – who made 396 appearances for the Reds and signs off as the Club’s most capped European performer – pull on a Cliftonville shirt for the final time
