Yesterday’s defeat to Linfield brought the curtain down on a December that started with three wins and ended with three losses – but who was your stand-out player from the last six matches?

The Reds started the month with a 5-1 victory over Dungannon Swifts that saw Rory Donnelly and Joe Gormley bag doubles alongside a Chris Curran cracker before Glenavon were beaten 4-2 when Donnelly again bagged a brace alongside strikes from Stephen Garrett and Conor McDonald.

Joe Gormley added to an early own goal ahead of Levi Ives wrapping up a 3-1 defeat of Ards, with Donnelly’s hat-trick was not enough to earn Cliftonville any reward from a madcap Brandywell battle with Institute, while Christmas week did little to lift spirits with both Crusaders and Linfield earning maximum points at Solitude.
