Way to Joe

Joe Gormley is today named Cliftonville Football Club’s Sean Graham Player of the Month for August.

In an online poll conducted among Reds fans, ‘The Goal’ – who scored fives times in as many appearances during the month – raked in 26% of the hundreds of votes cast to secure the honour.

After scoring the equalising goal in the opening Danske Bank Premiership defeat of Glentoran, Gormley also laid claim to a strike against Coleraine before netting a header against Linfield and a brace against Lisburn Distillery last week.

In addition to congratulating Joe on landing our first Sean Graham accolade of the season, the Club also places on record our thanks to the many supporters who took the time to get involved and we look forward to similar engagement when it’s time to determine the September’s star performer in a few weeks’ time.
