Serb your time

Cliftonville fans have every reason to keep an eye on events some 1,972 miles away this evening when the Serbian Cup Final will determine another possible opponent in next season’s Europa League.

As regular visitors to our dedicated guide will attest, the list of teams the Reds could face in the First Qualifying Round has been whittling down over the course of the past week – and another will be confirmed by the result of tonight’s clash between Mladost and Partizan Belgrade in Surdulica’s City Stadium.

Mladost’s only previous European adventure came in the form of a 5-0 aggregate defeat to Inter Baku last season but standing in their way of Cup glory is a Partizan side that has already qualified for the Europa League and for whom a victory would see Spartak Subotica (who finished fifth in the Serbian Super Liga) take the country’s remaining First Qualifying Round berth.

Also this evening, the Macedonian and Moldovan Cup Finals will add further representatives to the Unseeded pot, with Luxembourg, Azerbaijan, Montenegro and Slovenia staging their own domestic deciders on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

In a change to the original schedule, the First Qualifying Round draw will take place four weeks from today – Wednesday, June 20 – and cliftonvillefc.net will continue to present the web’s most detailed guide to our full list of potential opponents on a daily basis.

Simply click here to run the rule over all confirmed qualifiers as well as sides across the continent who are still battling to secure their place, with supporters advised to make regular checks to this section, which will be periodically updated to reflect the latest standings, thus bringing a clearer picture as to the identity of the Reds’ next continental foes.
