Cliftonville 4-0 Ballymena United

Cliftonville booked their place in the Europa League Play-Off Final with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Ballymena United at Solitude this evening.

It took until the 67th minute before a dominant Reds made the breakthrough, with Jay Donnelly finally breaking the resolve of a United side that had Kevin Braniff sent off for two first-half yellow card.

Donnelly doubled the hosts’ advantage nine minutes from time before a late Joe Gormley doubled wrapped up the win that books a place in Saturday’s decisive Solitude showdown with Glentoran.
