Get into the Ameri-can do spirit

The Tennent’s Irish Cup Final is just five days away – and The American Bar is getting into the swing of things by demonstrating exactly where their allegiances lie.

The Belfast hostelry, a valued Club Partner, is proudly displaying one of our Cup Final posters beneath the framed matchworn shirts of Levi Ives and former frontman Daniel Hughes and, as the countdown to Saturday’s eagerly-anticipated showdown with Coleraine continues, the Red Army have been busy decorating roads, streets and homes near and far – and we’d love to see what you are doing to help us paint the town Red.

With ticket sales ongoing from Ticketmaster, we want to know if you’ve chanced upon our poster on a community noticeboard in your area or on the wall of your favourite pub. Have you brightened up your workplace or placed one in the window of your car? Has your local chippy, cafe or coffee shop got involved – or maybe you’ve been able to convince your school to get behind the Reds in the countdown to the big day?

Is your street bedecked in red and white bunting or are there Cliftonville flags proudly on display outside your house? Whatever you’re doing to crank up the colour ahead of Saturday, take a picture and share it with us on Twitter, Facebook or by emailing redarnie@188.166.149.59 – and we’ll feature the best ones, with extra special praise reserved for the most obscure and unlikely locations!

Simply click on the image above to download our full-sized poster, which supporters are also encouraged to share on social media as we bid to ensure that none of your fellow fans, family or friends risk leaving it until the last minute to secure their ticket for the big day.
