Match postponed

The League Cup Semi Final fixture between Cliftonville and Ballymena United has been postponed for a second time.

Following overnight snow, an early afternoon inspection at The Showgrounds determined that the pitch was unplayable, meaning that this evening’s match – which had originally been scheduled for December 12 – must again be pencilled in for a new date.

The Club advises that, contrary to reports in some sections of the media, the fixture will not be played tomorrow night and we will update supporters accordingly once further information pertaining to the game’s rearrangement has been confirmed.
