In memory of Paul Straney

A minute’s applause will be held ahead of Cliftonville’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Glentoran this afternoon as a mark of respect for Paul Straney.

The Reds will also wear black armbands in memory of our former goalkeeper, who made 179 appearances for the Club between 2001 and 2006, famously scoring in the 2004 Promotion/Relegation Play-Off contest with Armagh City, and who contributed to our back-to-back Premiership titles in 2013 and 2014 in his role as Goalkeeping Coach.

Supporters are also invited to pay their condolences when a further tribute is paid to Paul at our Carol Service following today’s match.
