Jay to behold

Congratulations to Jay Donnelly, who has been voted Cliftonville Football Club’s Sean Graham Player of the Month for August.

In an online poll conducted among Reds fans, Jay registered 38% of the hundreds of votes cast to take the first award of the season.

After scoring Cliftonville’s opening and closing goals in the 6-3 victory over Ards on August 12, the 22-year-old was also on target in the North Belfast Derby duel with Crusaders before banking his fourth and fifth strikes of the month when Banbridge Town were dispatched from the League Cup last Tuesday night.

In addition to commending Jay on landing the 2017/18 campaign’s inaugural Sean Graham honour, the Club also places on record our thanks to the many supporters who took the time to get involved and we look forward to similar engagement when it’s time to determine September’s top player in just a few weeks.
