Force 4 good

As the 4 Corners Festival draws to a close, Cliftonville FC places on record our thanks to the organisers for the platform provided to the Club during the week.

Chairman Gerard Lawlor was joined by his fellow Belfast counterparts Roy McGivern (Linfield), Stephen Henderson (Glentoran) and Crusaders Vice Chairman Mark Langhammer for a discussion centred around football’s potential for overcoming division, building bridges and promoting community healing.

Hosted by BBC Radio Ulster commentator Joel Taggart, the ‘Bringing 4 Football Clubs Together’ function – which took place at Windsor Park last Wednesday – delivered an interesting insight to the challenges presented by Clubs at the forefront of their communities.

Cliftonville FC were very pleased to take part and lend our continued backing to the festival, which we likewise look forward to supporting next year.
