Mag’s game

Thomas Maguire is today named Cliftonville Football Club’s Sean Graham Player of the Month for January.

In an online poll conducted among Reds fans, Maguire – who received 35% of the vote – took the honour after scoring his first goal for the Club in the New Year’s Day victory over Glenavon and registering an Irish Cup double against Hanover before emerging from the bench to rescue the situation in the County Antrim Shield Final against Ballymena United; plundering the injury-time equaliser before providing the cross from which Ryan Curran eventually stroked home the winner.

In addition to congratulating Thomas on landing our latest Sean Graham accolade, the Club also places on record our thanks to the many hundreds of supporters who took the time to get involved and we look forward to similar engagement when it’s time to determine February’s star performer in a few weeks’ time.
