Crewe United 2-5 Cliftonville
Thomas Maguire scored a hat-trick as Cliftonville overcame Crewe United 5-2 in this afternoon’s fundraising friendly in memory of Tommy Breslin.
Alongside Maguire’s first-half treble at Crewe Park, Joe Gormley also found the net for the Reds, who added to their tally courtesy of Ruaidhri Donnelly after the interval.
Reds legend Chris Scannell was on target for the hosts on a day when the teams came together in tribute to Tommy, who played for and managed both Clubs.
NI Chest, Heart and Stroke were the beneficiaries of the occasion, with any supporters who were unable to attend but who would like to make a donation of their own able to do so here.
