To the nines

The fonaCAB Youth Cup delivered more thrills and spills at Solitude this weekend.

The tournament, which is being hosted by Cliftonville Football Development Centre, began with firstly the Under 8s and then Under 10s enjoying two action-packed weekends of exciting Cup drama, which was replicated when the Under 9s took centre stage over the last two days.

Next week, the competition closes with participating Under 11 sides – who have been divided into four pots within age-specific Development and Advanced status – travelling from near and far to play their part in the event.

Cliftonville Football Club thanks everyone who has signed up and we hope all of our visitors, including those who will be joining us next week, enjoy their experience at Solitude and, in saluting our various winners, we also extend congratulations to every player, coach and parent who has contributed to their respective teams’ participation in the fonaCAB Youth Cup.
