Lucas Galashan had the final say as Cliftonville Olympic edged a rip-roaring contest with Newry City Reserves this evening.

After falling 1-0 down in the Premiership Development League clash, the Reds turned the tie on its head courtesy of two Thomas Maguire strikes only for Newry to drag themselves level again.

With five minutes left, however, skipper Galashan would make the decisive contribution when he powered home the Olympic’s winner to lift the Reds up to fourth in the standings.
