The state of play

The NI Football League have this afternoon confirmed details of the Danske Bank Premiership’s Europa League Play-Offs – with Cliftonville’s involvement dependent on the outcome of next week’s Tennent’s Irish Cup Final.

Should the Reds overcome Coleraine at Windsor Park on May 5, Barry Gray’s side will qualify automatically for the Europa League, however defeat to the Bannsiders would see Cliftonville compete in the Play-Offs.

Contested between four of the five teams finishing 3rd-7th in the table – with only Ballymena United’s and Glentoran’s participation currently confirmed – the Semi Finals will take place on Wednesday, May 9 (7.45pm) ahead of the Final on Saturday, May 12 (3pm) with home advantage in all fixtures granted to the team boasting the highest League position.
