Breen and done it

Garry Breen is today named Cliftonville Football Club’s Sean Graham Player of the Month for December.

In an online poll conducted among Reds fans, the central defender – who played in all five of our fixtures – raked in 21% of the hundreds of votes cast to take his second honour of the season, having also been nominated as September’s star man.

After helping Cliftonville to victory at Warrenpoint Town, Breen contributed to the latest in a string of clean sheets when Glentoran were overcome at Solitude and, following disappointing away days against Linfield and Crusaders, helped the Reds end 2017 with another shut-out – this time against Coleraine, although injury forced his early departure from that particular contest.

In addition to congratulating Garry on landing our latest Sean Graham accolade, the Club also places on record our thanks to the many supporters who took the time to get involved and we look forward to similar engagement when it’s time to determine December’s star man in just a few weeks.
