Ben joined Cliftonville in July 2023 following a spell with Brighton & Hove Albion, whom he joined from Coleraine in the summer of 2018, having the previous year become the Bannsiders’ youngest ever senior goalscorer when he found the net in a North-West Cup clash with Moyola Park at the age of just 15.
A Northern Ireland Under-21 international, Wilson was a regular for Brighton’s Under-23 side in recent seasons, featuring in a number of Premier League 2 fixtures, and Reds boss Jim Magilton made the Coshquin man his first permanent signing as Manager.
