Cliftonville Ladies roared back from 2-0 down to claim a stunning victory over Linfield Women in this evening’s Sports Direct Women’s Premiership clash at Solitude.

After early strikes from Megan Bell and Zoe McGlynn put the visitors in control and left the Reds on the brink of losing their 100% record in the League so far this season, Caitlin McGuinness’ 26th minute finish offered hope of a turnaround.

Brendan Lynch’s side then dragged themselves level on the hour mark courtesy of Teegan Lynch and no sooner had Cliftonville restored parity than they were in front for the first time in the game when McGuinness pounced for her second of the night to complete a memorable fightback.
