Strolling to the title

Cliftonville Strollers will be formally crowned Champions at Solitude tomorrow night.

The Wee Reds clinched the Academy League Under-18 title courtesy of a 2-1 win over Dungannon Swifts Under-18s on Friday evening and will be presented with the trophy following tomorrow’s home game with Glentoran Colts.

The team bossed by Conor Pepper and Daniel Kearns sit a remarkable 20 points clear at the top of the table with four matches left to play and can look forward to representing the Club on the European stage in next season’s UEFA Youth League.

Featuring a number of players who have featured for the senior side this term, Cliftonville fans are invited to come along and show their support for the next generation as the Strollers celebrate a second League title in three years.
