Reds feel burn for Cup defence

Cliftonville Ladies’ defence of the Electric Ireland Women’s Irish Cup will commence with a repeat of last season’s Final against Lisburn Rangers.

The Reds claimed the silverware to complete a 2024 trophy treble back in October and, having already retained the VBet Women’s League Cup by overcoming Glentoran Women in a sensational decider at Seaview last weekend, will bid to take the first step towards keeping hold of another honour when they tackle Rangers at Crewe Park on Friday, July 18.

This game adds an additional fixture to a July programme that already includes an imminent North Belfast Derby date with Crusaders, back-to-back Sports Direct Women’s Premiership showdowns with Glentoran Women and an eagerly-anticipated Women’s Champions League duel with Mitrovica in Kosovo.
