Some friendly fire
Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to confirm details of five additions to our pre-season friendly list.
Jim Magilton’s squad will report for training later this month and, as part of their preparations for the new campaign, will face Scottish Premiership side Hibernian in a behind-closed-doors game at a neutral venue on Saturday, July 4.
The following weekend, Indonesian Super League outfit Bhayangkara Presisi – managed by former Reds youngster Paul Munster – will visit Solitude for what promises to be an historic encounter between our two Clubs ahead of Cliftonville hosting Premier Intermediate League Champions Moyola Park on the 14th.
We look forward to formally welcoming Declan O’Hara’s Newington back to their tenancy at Solitude on July 18 before a home game with Warrenpoint Town on the 21st takes us up to our previously announced meeting with English Southern League Premier Division Central opponents Alvechurch.
Further fixtures are expected to be added to the schedule in the coming weeks, and we will keep our supporters fully updated on all developments on cliftonvillefc.net and through our social media channels.
