All in Play

With the Sports Direct Premiership season now over, attentions turn to next month’s BetMcLean European Play-Offs.

Cliftonville will be at home to either Carrick Rangers or Dungannon Swifts, but whether such a tie comes at the competition’s quarter-final or semi-final stage will be determined by the outcome of Saturday’s Clearer Water Irish Cup Final.

Should Coleraine win the trophy, the Reds will host the winners of the quarter-final between Dungannon and Carrick for the right to meet Linfield in the Final, which is set to be played at the Clearer Twist Stadium.

If, however, the Swifts retain the Irish Cup, Cliftonville will meet Carrick in a Solitude quarter-final, with the winners travelling to Glentoran ahead of a potential Final clash with the Blues.

Though no fixture dates have yet been formally confirmed by the NI Football League, it’s provisionally understood that the quarter-final will take place on Wednesday, May 6 with the semi-final and Final likely to be contested on Saturday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 12, respectively.

The Club will, of course, keep all of our supporters fully informed on all developments, with tickets for our upcoming home game set to go on sale soon.
