Cupdate your diary

A busy Cup schedule is evidence of a winning team and Cliftonville Ladies have certainly been delivering on that front this season.

Alongside the defence of their Sports Direct Women’s Premiership title, John McGrady’s side remain active in no fewer than FIVE different Cup competitions, with plenty of diary dates filled in the weeks and months ahead.

After hosting Linfield Women in the semi-finals of the Premiership League Cup tomorrow night, the Reds welcome Cork City Women to Solitude on Avenir Sports All-Island Cup duty on Sunday.

The Blues will also provide the opposition in the second round of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup on Friday, July 28 before Cliftonville contest the first Final of the season when the County Antrim Cup is on the line in a North Belfast Derby duel with Crusaders Strikers three days later.

There’s also the notable matter of a Women’s Champions League first round semi-final with Benfica to factor in on Wednesday, September 6 ahead of a further European encounter with either WFC BIIK-Shymkent (Kazakhstan) or SFK Riga (Latvia) on the 9th, both of which will be played in Lisbon.

Full details of all the above games will be carried here on cliftonvillefc.net and our Official social media channels once confirmed, so be sure to keep an eye out for information on this most historic of seasons for Cliftonville Ladies.
