Cliftonville Ladies got the better of Crusaders Strikers to be crowned Danske Bank Women’s Premiership Champions for the first time in history.

After a dominant first-half display at Seaview, the Reds finally made the breakthrough when Marissa Callaghan dispatched an ice-cool penalty only for the Crues to hit back with a leveller before Vicky Carleton earned her moment in the spotlight with a close-range header that sealed both the win and the title.
