Dunne makes Swifts switch

Cliftonville Football Club offers thanks and best wishes to Declan Dunne following his move to Dungannon Swifts.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper represented the Reds at underage level for a number of years before making the first of 23 senior appearances in a Danske Bank Premiership victory over Linfield at Windsor Park in April of 2018.

He spent the following season on loan at Portadown in the Championship before returning to Solitude, where he provided competition and cover predominantly for Richard Brush, and enjoyed his longest run in the team during the first half of the current campaign.

He leaves with the gratitude of everyone at Cliftonville for his services and our sincere best wishes for his time with the Swifts.

The Club can, in addition, confirm that Ryan O’Reilly has requested to be released from his contract due to work commitments, while striker Conor Scannell has joined Glenavon and we likewise extend the best of luck to both players.
