School runnings

Today’s Centenary Shield fixture between Northern Ireland Schoolboys and Wales will be played at Solitude with a 12pm start.

Originally scheduled for The Dub and then Midgley Park, the game will instead be staged in familiar environs for Cliftonville’s representatives in the squad; Odhrán Casey, Peter McKiernan and Dylan Snoddon.

All three played in NI’s tournament opener against Scotland in last Friday – when McKiernan found the net in the 1-1 draw in Renfrew – and naturally receive the best wishes of everyone at the Club ahead of this afternoon’s match.
