The month ahead: February

Cliftonville face four fixtures across two competitions in February – a month that will end with a fifth game if Paddy McLaughlin’s side can successfully negotiate today’s meeting with Rathfriland Rangers.

Following the Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Cup Sixth Round tie at Solitude, the Reds then welcome Carrick Rangers in a rearranged Danske Bank Premiership encounter on Tuesday night ahead of hosting Dungannon Swifts on League duty next Saturday, February 8.

A free weekend then follows due to a clash with the League Cup Final before a fourth consecutive home game sees Cliftonville tackle Ballymena United on the 22nd (prior to which Ken Reid will be the guest at our latest Matchday Lunch) before hopefully rounding the month off with a return to Irish Cup action seven days later – so add all of those dates to your diary and make sure you’re part of things as the Reds bid to make progress on more than one front in the weeks ahead.
