Padraig Slane netted twice as Cliftonville Olympic roared to a 4-0 victory over Coleraine Reserves in yesterday’s Premiership Development League clash.

He opened the scoring on 12 minutes after the home keeper had failed to keep hold of a Peter McKiernan effort ahead of Brodie Spencer teeing Conor Scannell up to make it 2-0 barely 60 seconds later.

Slane then turned provider for McKiernan to head home at the start of the second-half before wrapping up the scoring with his second of the day as the Olympic – who hold four games in hand over table-topping Crusaders Reserves – maintain their place three points off the summit.
