Final countdown

Cliftonville will face Ballymena United in the County Antrim Shield Final.

The Reds booked their place in the decider courtesy of this evening’s 1-0 victory over Glentoran, which followed on from wins over Knockbreda and Linfield in the previous rounds of the competition.

The Sky Blues, meanwhile, comfortably overcame Bluefin Sport Championship side H&W Welders in their own last-four tie tonight.

The Final, which is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, will be played at a venue to be confirmed.
