Best wishes to Cliftonville’s Toni Leigh Finnegan, who is part of the Northern Ireland Women’s Under 19 side that commences a European Championship qualifying tournament this evening.

The Reds defender will hope to be involved when Alfie Wylie’s side take on Wales at Shamrock Park tonight (7.30pm) ahead of clashes with Moldova at The Ballymena Showgrounds on Saturday (2pm) and Norway at Seaview next Tuesday, October 8 (2pm) – the same time as Solitude hosts Moldova’s battle with Wales.

The top two sides in 12 groups plus the four third-placed teams with the best record against the top two in their section will go into an elite round draw on November 21, from which seven teams will eventually join hosts Georgia in next summer’s Finals.
