The month ahead: October

Cliftonville face six fixtures across three competitions in October – a month that will end with a seventh game if Paddy McLaughlin’s side can successfully negotiate next week’s League Cup clash with Bangor.

The action begins for the Reds this Friday night with a Danske Bank Premiership trip to face Glentoran at The Oval, ahead of that League Cup Third Round tie with the Seasiders at Solitude next Tuesday.

Larne are our Premiership visitors on the 12th ahead of Cliftonville locking horns with Linfield in a County Antrim Shield Quarter Final showdown at Windsor Park on the 15th.

Cliftonville return to League duty in a Brandywell battle with Institute on October 19 before hosting Dungannon Swifts on the 26th (prior to which Gerry Armstrong will be the guest at our latest Matchday Lunch) and will hope to round the month off with a return to League Cup duty on Tuesday the 29th – so add all of those dates to your diary and make sure you’re part of things as the Reds bid to make progress on multiple fronts in the weeks ahead.
