Put to good youth

The final instalment of the 2019 fonaCAB Youth Cup took place at Solitude today.

The tournament, which was hosted by Cliftonville Football Development Centre, began with firstly the Under 8s, then Under 10s and Under 9s enjoying three action-packed weekends of exciting Cup drama, which was replicated when the Under 11s took centre stage over the last two days.

Teams – who were divided into four pots within age-specific Development and Advanced status – travelled from near and far to play their part in the hugely popular event and Cliftonville FC thanks everyone involved with organising and participating in the competition over the last month.

We hope all of our visitors enjoyed their experiences at Solitude and, in saluting our various winners, we also extend congratulations to every player, coach and parent who has contributed to their respective teams’ involvement in the fonaCAB Youth Cup.
