Stay on schedule

There’s a busy day of action ahead of us both on and off the pitch at Solitude.

This afternoon’s main event is, of course, Cliftonville’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Glenavon, but supporters are reminded of charitable and community ventures either side of the match, as well as the opening of ticket sales for the forthcoming North Belfast Derby with Crusaders.

Today’s diary kicks off with our annual Foodbank Collection, when supporters are invited to contribute in aid of North Belfast Advice Partnership, who will be distributing Christmas Hampers alongside Antrim Road Baptist Church, OASIS Shankill Road, Haven Homeless Support and St Pat’s Soup Kitchen over the coming weeks.

Just before 3pm, the Club will pay tribute to our late groundsman Paddy Madden with a minute’s applause ahead of kick-off, offering players, officials and fans alike a further opportunity to honour one of our cherished stalwarts.

At half-time, tickets for the December 26 showdown with the Crues will go on sale from The Whitehouse – with Members and Season Ticket holders reminded that they do NOT require a separate match ticket for the fixture.

Post-match, in addition to the resumption of ticket sales for the Derby, the Cliftonville FC Carol Service will be conducted by Club Chaplain, Reverend Dario Leal, with all supporters once again invited to join us.

Ahead of what is the Club’s final home game before Christmas, we thank our fans for their support throughout the year and look forward to your typically generous engagement with our Foodbank Collection this afternoon, as well as welcoming you to ring in the festive season with us after the game.
