Defender under hospital care

Best wishes for a speedy recovery are extended to Damien McNulty, who was taken to hospital after being stretchered off during Cliftonville’s County Antrim Shield victory over Lisburn Distillery this evening.

The 27-year-old – making his Reds debut after being sidelined by injury since joining the Club in the summer – was involved in a clash of heads with central defensive partner Jamie Harney in the closing minutes of the first-half and was admitted for further medical attention after suffering concussion.
