Billie Simpson was in prolific form as Cliftonville Ladies soared to a comprehesive 16-0 victory over Chimney Corner in this evening’s Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup Second Round clash.

Simpson was one of four players to score hat-tricks, however, unlike fellow treble stars Amber Dempster, Emma McMaster and Megan Weatherall, she would further add to her tally and ended the night with five goals to her name.

Ahead when Simpson nodded home from an McMaster free-kick in the first minute, the Reds doubled their advantage when Simpson registered her second of the night soon later.

Dempster made it 3-0 and Hannah Grieve added the fourth before McMaster added her own name to the scoresheet.

Louise Doherty’s enterprise paved the way for Lisa Service for number 11 ahead of Simpson boosting her personal tally to four by hitting the 12th soon later.

Weatherall wrapped up the second hat-trick of the night ahead of McMaster joining her on a treble when she hit two to make it 15 before Simpson – who had opened the scoring at the start of a sensational display – enjoyed the final say when her fifth made it 16-0.
